About myself

Drawing, painting and doing crafting were the things that I loved to do since ever I was a little child. I remember that was pretty bad at most of school subjects, except Arts. So I grew up wanting to be an artist. But I wasn't sure in which field should I wanted to focus on. I started by studying graphic design, and I received Bachelor of Arts (Visual Communications) majoring in Graphic design in Australia. I worked as a graphic designer for four years. But I wasn't feeling fully satisfied, because I find it very limiting in expressing my creativity.

After a few year doing different things, I took my time to self-taught myself in metalsmithing. And I couldn't be more happier that I did!

I'm attracted to unique and beautiful stones, especially those with optical inclusions and color zoning. And as you can see on my pieces, I do love watermelon tourmaline, opal, sector-zoned diamond and dendritic agate so much.

I usually design around my hand-picked gemstones, and trying to display the natural beauty of each stones in my own handmade settings.

All of the items are created by me in my bench at home each time after sending my son off to kindergarten and during his sleeps :) .

I’m trying my best to capture the beauty of each pieces I create. I took the photograph in natural lights only. It’s often very hard to photograph gemstones accurately, because the colors may be vary depending on the light source, angle and variations in individual monitors. Therefore, your jewelry may look slightly different in person than it does online.

Portions from every sales will go to MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders), an international medical and humanitarian organisation which provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict.
